Vietnam’s pangasius trade remained firm in 2025, with export value reaching nearly $2.2 billion, up 8% year on year (YOY), according to a new report from the Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP).

The report showed Vietnam exported 906,000 tonnes of frozen pangasius to around 100 countries during the year, an increase of 3.4% from 2024 and 24.2% higher than 2023 levels.

Norwegian Salmon Mortality Falls 35.7% as Industry Improvements Drive Decline
