Japan's Import of Norwegian Mackerel Plummets 83% in April

The price of Norwegian mackerel continues to soar. Minato Shimbun reports that, according to domestic processing sources, "The price in Japan has exceeded 1,000 yen/kg ($6.25/kg). The new catch, which will be caught from August, will likely see further price increases," they warn.
