Center for Biological Diversity Wins Appeal to Uphold NMFS Rule for TEDs in Shrimp Trawls
A federal appeals court has affirmed a lower court ruling upholding a 2019 National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) rule requiring skimmer trawl shrimp vessels 40 feet and longer to use turtle excluder devices (TEDs), according to a press release issued by the Center for Biological Diversity.
