House Bill Would Subject Marine Monument Fishing to Magnuson-Stevens Rules
The House Subcommittee on Water, Wildlife and Fisheries examined legislation on June 3 that would require fishing in marine national monuments to follow federal fisheries management standards, along with measures expanding Alaska Native sea otter harvesting rights and Gulf state waters.
